Excenter Learning is an education program offered by Hemato Institute to inform its members and the general public of ways to improve their health and the environment based on Hemato Institute's findings and research.
In 2016, Hemato Institute developed a unique natural sourdough recipe, based on artisan techniques, that provides insight into how our health is regulated through the ways we handle and prepare food.
Natural Sourdough Bread Making is a series that teaches various sourdough bread recipes and bread making techniques at different levels of difficulty. Students spend the day making their own loaves and listening to short lectures explaining the science behind the techniques and health benefits of sourdough bread.
Join us and experience Excenter Learning's Natural Sourdough Bread Making program.
Our Course Venues
We offer courses at multiple venues around the world and always welcome the opportunity to expand to new venues. Please contact us if you would like Excenter Learning to host a course in your city.
What does Excenter Mean?
The term excenter comes from geometry.
If you draw three circles sitting perfectly on the outer edge of each side of a triangle, in proportion to the length of each side, these outer circles can all be connected through their excenters. The excenter is the center point of each of these circles. When you join these excenters together, another triangle can be drawn, which then yields another set of excenters to draw another set of triangles. Ever expanding outwards, the excenters can be used to draw an infinite number of triangles, all connected to the first triangle.
Likewise, we strive to educate and share our findings on healthy living with the hope that the benefits to individuals and impact on the environment will multiply.
